Who is This Course For?
This programme is intended for drivers who require an ADR Vocational Training Licence to legally transport dangerous goods, whether in packages or in tankers.
ADR training is a compulsory requirement in the UK for anyone driving vehicles that carry tanks, approved tank components or specified classes of dangerous goods. To meet these obligations, drivers must complete an approved ADR course and obtain a valid ADR Vocational Training Licence issued by the Scottish Qualifications Authority (SQA).
What Will I Learn?
The course covers the essential areas needed to work safely and compliantly with dangerous goods, including:
You will gain a solid understanding of the regulations that govern the movement of dangerous goods and develop the skills required to operate safely and within the law.
After completing the training and passing the relevant examinations, you will receive a Driver Training Certificate issued by the SQA. All examinations take place on the final day and are conducted under formal invigilated conditions.
