Who is This Course For?
This course is designed for groups of drivers within a single organisation who need an ADR Vocational Training Licence to legally carry dangerous goods, whether in packages or in tankers.
ADR training is a legal requirement in the UK for drivers of vehicles that transport tanks, approved tank components or specified classes of dangerous goods. To comply, drivers must complete an approved ADR course and hold a valid ADR Vocational Training Licence issued by the Scottish Qualifications Authority (SQA).
What Will I Learn?
The course covers the core topics needed to work safely and compliantly with dangerous goods, including:
You will develop a clear understanding of the rules governing the movement of dangerous goods and the practical skills required to operate safely and within the law.
After completing the training and successfully passing the required examinations, each driver will receive a Driver Training Certificate issued by the SQA. All examinations are held on the final day and are conducted under formal, invigilated conditions.
