Who is This Course For?
This course is designed for drivers who need to obtain their ADR Vocational Training Licence in order to transport dangerous goods by road.
ADR training and certification is mandatory in the UK for drivers who operate vehicles carrying tanks, certain tank components, and certain dangerous goods in packages. The drivers must attend an approved ADR training course and hold a valid ADR Vocational Training Licence issued by the Scottish Qualifications Authority (SQA).

What Will I Learn?
The ADR course covers:

• Awareness of the hazards in the carriage of dangerous goods
• The steps that a driver can take in order to reduce the likelihood of an incident from occurring
• The measures required to protect the driver’s own safety and that of the public and the environment, in the event that an incident does occur
• Individual practical experience of any actions they will need to take

What Will I Achieve?
Gain the knowledge and skills you need to navigate the complex regulations surrounding the transportation of dangerous goods.
Upon successful completion of the course and passing the examinations, you will be issued a Driver Training Certificate by the SQA. The exams will take place on the last day of the course. All exams are taken under exam conditions with an invigilator present.
 
What is Included in the Cost?

• In-person exam at our Grantham Office
• Training from an approved ADR training provider with two Dangerous Goods Safety Advisors (DGSA) on the team.
