Who Is This Course For?
This course is for aspiring LGV drivers who need to pass the Driver CPC theory tests as part of their initial qualification. It is suitable for:

•  New LGV licence applicants
•  Drivers returning to the industry who require Driver CPC
•  Individuals wanting structured, guided theory revision

What Will I Learn?
The course covers all topics required for both parts of Module 1, including:

•  Road traffic law, rules and regulations
•  Driver hours, working time and rest requirements
•  Vehicle weights, dimensions and load security
•  Braking systems, vehicle safety and defect awareness
•  Hazard perception techniques and risk awareness
•  Environmental driving and fuel efficiency

Learning materials are aligned with DVSA test standards and designed to build confidence ahead of the exams.

What Will I Achieve?
On completion, you will:

•  Be fully prepared to sit the Driver CPC Module 1a and 1b tests
•  Understand how to identify and respond to developing hazards
•  Improve your knowledge of legal and safety responsibilities as an LGV driver

Test Guidance:

•  Module 1a test duration: 1 hour 55 minutes (minimum 20 hours recommended revision)
•  Module 1b test duration: 40 minutes (minimum 10 hours recommended revision)
